This outstanding resource allows children to explore what is meant by democracy. The lesson plan is evident from the smartboard and the lesson allows for talk partners and class discussion. Links to SMSC are embedded into the lesson itself.
This PSHE unit focuses on the unit Good to be me
The unit has different focuses. Each lessons comprises of :

-feelings and mixed emotions

This smartboard is based on homelessness in the UK and identifying the key factors that leads to this issue. The children plan and write their own letter to the government to highlight the issue and the need for the government to do more. Included is a model of a letter that meets the requirements of KS2 writing.

The aim of this lesson is to explore the emotional changes that occur during growing up.
The pupils will:
identify the various stages of a human life.

This lesson focuses on being able to recognise and challenge stereotyping. The children will
know what stereotyping is.
know of differences that cause people to often stereotype.
suggest ways to challenge stereotyping.
This smartboard looks at what happened in the USA in the elections November 2016.
Children discuss why people in the USA are so upset and then will look at their own morality.
This has been deemed an outstanding lesson by the local authority. This lesson uses the SMSC document as the basis for developing children's good moral choices. The lesson begins with an interactive starter followed by group work in order to feedback to the class.
Activities are highly differentiated for SEN to more able in year 5 and 6.
This has been deemed an outstanding resource that can be used by all KS2 and lower KS3 classes to establish the class rules at the beginning of the school year. An interactive resource with presentation, lesson plan and activities for the first lesson back after the summer holidays. Suitable for all levels of ability.
This unit of work is based around Getting on and Falling out and is based around relationships.
Each lesson plan has a starter, discussion based work, activities that are differentiated and plenary. Some of the activities are written work so that the children can express themselves.

This lesson focuses on to appreciate the importance of different types of relationships. The children in this lesson identify different types of relationships, discuss the value of these relationships and the impact on them.
This lesson allows children to understand gender stereotyping, recognise that differences and similarities between people arise from a number of factors and challenge gender stereotyping.
A lesson plan which can be taught the day or week before children go to visit their new school. A differentiated lesson plan that allows children to explore their feelings about the day ahead. The tasks link to the day ahead and allow children to explore their feelings further.

The purpose of the lesson is to focus on what information should and should not be shared on line and the effects of this.

This smartboard has 3 lessons based on Muhammad Ali and in his life. The learning taking place is through writing, group work, discussions and visuals.
The lessons would be ideal for Black History Month or looking at key figures who had an impact on the world. These lessons have a focus on : writing, PSHE and history
The lessons focus on looking at:
-who Muhammad Ali was and identifying who he was so famous ( focusing on his boxing, facing prejudice and positive changes in his life) .
-explore his beliefs with a focus on equality and civil rights martyr
- writing a poem inspiring others to stand up for their beliefs or on oppression linked segregation

This KS2- Year 6 resource meets the objectives of the PSHE and SMSC units. This powerpoint allows children to explore what moral dilemmas are and how they need to make good moral choices.
